This place shows its age with cracks in the bathroom baseboards, a rust-stained bathtub, and a phone that didn’t even work. Beds felt small and firm, and breakfast options were basic at best: pre-packaged pastries and a few cereals, not very impressive. The lobby's lighting could've used a refresh, and the pool area, despite its views, had cheap plastic furniture without any umbrellas for shade, which could be a bummer under the hot sun. The elevator had moments of overheating, not ideal in summer, and there weren’t enough hangers in the room to deal with wet beach gear.

We had a great time at the hotel. The pool on the third floor was a gem, we had it all to ourselves and it felt like our own little paradise. The staff was super friendly and helped us find a fantastic seafood place just a few blocks away.
